Course

Description: This is the annual ALS / BLS Skills Drill and King Airway Roll Out. This year the ALS Skills Drill will consist of a Mega Code, Trauma and Airway Station. The Airway Station will be certification specific; E's will do the King, I / P's will do the King and Adult ET and P's will do pediatric ET as well. This year the BLS Skills Drill will consist of a Medical, Trauma, Airway and 12 Lead Acquisition Station. These stations will evaluate KSA's but also allow for teaching. We will not be doing a written protocol test this year.

This will be the last two sessions offered; All providers (ALS & BLS) who did not attend in December will be required to attend one of these skill sessions in order to practice in the LFEMSC region as an Attendant in Charge.

Prerequisites: Virginia Certified EMT Basic, Enhanced, Intermediate and Paramedic level providers approved to practice within the Lord Fairfax EMS Council.
